250MW! Hanersun and PV CONSULT’s Strategic Partnership Powers Central Asia’s Renewable Future

On May 14, during the second day of the Power Uzbekistan 2025, Hanersun signed an annual supply framework agreement with a total capacity of 250MW onsite with the Bulgarian solar company PV CONSULT LTD. Hanersun’s Vice President Sunny Sun and PV CONSULT’s CEO Georgi Kovachev represented their companies at the signing. This cooperation will leverage the dual advantages of high efficiency products and international project implementation experience to help Uzbekistan accelerate its renewable energy transformation.

250MW! Hanersun and PV CONSULT's Strategic Partnership Powers Central Asia's Renewable Future

PV CONSULT is a leading solar enterprise in Bulgaria with its business spanning across the European region. According to the agreement, PV CONSULT will rely on its emerging-market network in Uzbekistan to promote the development of solar projects with a total capacity of 250 MW, all of which will use Hanersun’s HITOUCH N series high efficiency modules.

This series of products is based on N-type cell technology, with a maximum mass production efficiency of up to 23.3%. The first-year degradation is less than 1%, and it provides a 30-year linear power warranty, significantly reducing the LCOE for projects and ensuring power generation gains throughout the life cycle. The bifaciality rate of the modules reaches 85%, making them especially suitable for the harsh environment of high irradiation and frequent sandstorms in Uzbekistan, providing cost-effective power solutions for large scale ground-mounted and C&I projects. In addition, the relevant module products have obtained multiple certifications and were rated as “TOP PERFORMER” in the independent tests by KIWA PVEL, demonstrating excellent performance and reliability.

Uzbekistan is rich in solar resources but faces challenges such as frequent power outages during peak electricity consumption periods and an urgent need for energy structure transformation. In this cooperation, the two parties’ advantages are complementary: Hanersun uses technological innovation to solve problems related to high-environmental adaptability and power generation efficiency, while PV CONSULT uses its EPC contracting experience to promote local implementation. Together, they aim to ease the local power supply-demand contradiction and increase the proportion of clean energy.

Georgi Kovachev, the CEO of PV CONSULT , said, “Uzbekistan is a strategic location for us to expand into the Central Asian market. We chose Hanersun not only because its high-efficiency module technology can significantly increase project returns but also because of its global service capabilities and stable supply chain, which provide strong support for our development in emerging markets.”

Sunny Sun, the Vice President of Hanersun, emphasized, “Hanersun always focuses on customer needs. With rich project experience in markets such as Europe and Latin America, we will provide PV CONSULT with a full-cycle customized solution, from module selection to technical support and then to operation and maintenance services, helping our customers quickly enter the market and jointly share the growth dividends of the Central Asian PV market.”

With the acceleration of the global energy transformation, Hanersun is continuously providing cost-effective renewable energy solutions for emerging markets through technological innovation and global layout. This strategic cooperation with PV CONSULT not only consolidates Hanersun’s position in the Central Asian market but also demonstrates its determination to contribute to the global carbon neutrality goal with high-efficiency products and high-quality services.
